White tuna balls in olive oil


– 4 cans of white tuna in olive oil

– 1 onion

– white wine

– 2 cloves of garlic

– 3 eggs

– Flour

– Bread crumbs

– Oil


Cook the eggs, let them cool and chop them.

In a bowl, prepare the dough of the meatballs: mix well the white tuna in olive oil with a little white wine, chopped eggs and bread crumbs.

We give shape to the mixture, round or flat.

We pass the white tuna balls through the flour and fry them in oil. We place them on absorbent paper to remove excess fat.

In the same oil, brown the chopped onion to which we will add a pinch of flour. The onion is crushed and passed to a clay pot where we will also put the white tuna ballas and a little bit of the liquid from the tuna can in olive oil, leaving it to cook over low heat for 15 minutes.

Another option is to serve the meatballs without sauce, hot or cold, accompanied by a salad.
